The part in question required four lifters (angled ejectors) per unit to form its complex undercuts. For high-volume production, this meant a significant challenge: a 16-cavity mold would require a total of 64 precision lifters to function in perfect synchrony.
The customer’s original supplier was concerned about product sticking to the lifters, so they designed a 4-cavity mold with a “slide + lifter” structure. However, after the customer watched the production video of our automatic elastic shoelace buckle accessory mold, recognizing our proven capability, the client confidently approved our proposal for a completely new mold design.
The results exceeded expectations:
